headin to bali soon and ive heard there is a new surfboard tax? ive heard its $45 usd PER BOARD!!! is this true??? surely as surfers, we are not going to have to pay yet another bullshit tax imposed by an airline of government???

I live in Bali and I haven't ever heard of this. They will let you bring in up to 3 boards. After that they might start levying duty on you. The customs guys do not understand the concept of a quiver I am afraid.
