Where in the world to go surfing in Early - mid April?

I'm going on a little family vacation and we would all enjoy some waves. I surf, my boy wants to learn and my wife loves watching (or not) from the shore and playing in the waves. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks - HARV

There could be a lot of places to go to, i guess since you're going with the family you'd mant somwhere warm, but if you want to surf try Peru www.bravosurfcamp.com is not summer then but it's not cold either,

Ecuador is the place to be for surfing in april!

I was in the Manabi area in between Manta and San Lorenzo one month ago and planning to go back shortly too. If anyone is looking for an awesome Surf Hideaway spot. Check out Hostel Mar de ensuenos. It's at the top of a hill, very secure and economical. The Food is awesome and the owners treat you like family. We met Surfers there from Puerto Rico, Australia, US and locals. My fiancee and I had the best dream vacation and our new surf friends couldn't get enough of the waves in San Lorenzo, they ended up staying three days longer than they planned. This is an awesome place to enjoy the great Ecuador Wet Season. We hope you all get to enjoy this place as much as we did!  call them up at (593)5 2615 106 ask for Monica and Rocky!
