Outer Banks 'Preservation'?« on: March 31 2008 19:03:00 »
Some dumb down-southers claim that having to walk to the beach (sea turtle and tern nests destroyed by ORV's) is ruining their surfing experience and equating that with Trestles struggles; is there a difference?

I'm so sick of these redneck troglodytes thinking there's no personal responsibility in maintaining the entire surf ecosystem, and claiming 'their' in danger; didn't Endless Summer surfers have to walk 5 miles over hyena-infested dunes, not knowing what waited beyond? Quit bitchin' Lynnard Skinnard' and get some exercise! Fortune favors the brave!

We live and work here as well as protect the surf; we didn't invite Yankee asswipes or the liberal U.S of A. too tell us what to so; I'll keep carving on the waves and the dunes and if a turtle gets in the way....alley-oop! The South is gonna rise again!

The OBX belongs to the 'NATIONAL SEASHORE', that's all US citizens, Goober Pile! All resources should be protected, not just local trailor boiz; why not create a shuttle to desired spots and minimize dune and wildlife destruction!
