So im going to guatemala in may i got my 4x4 rental all set up and some locals in guatemala city are gonna look after me a bit there, but i want to get to the pacific coast and surf and hang out so does anyone know of any good cheap chill surfer friendly hotels at the breaks.  I could use some names and location or even emails of the hotels or any other info on them

Go to el paredon. it is the chillest place you'll ever visit. the waves are decent. you will probably be the only vacationer there. i went last year by myself and there was one other kid from australia and one from sweden. it was awesome though. the locals are great and the food is tasty. it costs like $8 US per day including pretty nice boards to rent. the camp you'd stay at also has a fridge full of cervezas and so if basically the entire time you are there you will just surf and relax. youll love it.

You will get rip, the hotels are a dump and ocean water is 50% sewage, better go to Florida. Locals are looking for your $$$, so be careful.
