I'm a beginner surfer too and would like to surf in central america in September. I'm looking into an affordable camp run by dependable people b/c I need some guidance as to the water in the area and to learn more skills are I go along. I have heard mixed reviews about El Paredon camp in Guatemala, has anyone been there? Or can recommend any other camps in central america?

Did you get any information on a good surf school? We are going to be there in Sept and want to do the same thing. Any information would be appreciated.
