The surf has been mighty fine and will be so again today.  I'm heading out to threes this morning, so I'll see you out there.  forecast 4-6 foot.

Threes is such a sick wave when all the old guys aren't out.  Don't take offense but I figured out why it's called number threes.  All the regs there are riding a board 3 feet longer than what they should be riding, they are all 3 pants sizes over weight and they are all in their third stage of life(dying).  Oh and it's the third break over.

Very amusing, Puna.  FYI, my boardshorts have only increased one size.
Did you catch the latest swell?  I had a blast over the past couple of days, friday was o.k. saturday was fine!!

Yeah, but a 2 -4 ft. wave to you guys is like over head to double overhead to the rest of the world.  Hawiians Measure the waves  on the Back side.   So the face of the wave is3 times the size.

Usually 2 times, not 3 times oversized from mainland scale. Actually that scale helps you get better because you stop thinking about the number and just learn to handle bigger and bigger waves.
