Unfortuantley maui really isn't that great for surfing in the summer. You can go to Lahaina where all the lessons take place, they have nice 1-3 footers for cruisin on a longbaord. But if u really want to surf, like acutally ride a decent wave in the summer. Go to the VERY north side of the island. The same area where Jaws is. THe beaches there have a constant wind comin direct at them so 4-5 foot waves break and the occasional overhead. Other than that i dont' know what to tell ya, peace

Did you go to Maui? I'm pretty new to surfing , but am thinking of going there in the next 2-3 weeks, any info I'd gladly appreciate,
