Pea on their beaches, and don't forget to leave your beer cans on the beach. Snake their waves and be a complete Arsehole, and you'll fit right in.

Sit on the beach and watch the locals. It's supposed to be pretty big this coming weekend, you may be biting off more than you can chew. Take a seat at Waimea (on the sand) and enjoy. If it's as big as they predict, most places will be closed out. You could go to the west side of Oahu, the waves will be more manageable. the south shore may be working also. Get there early in the day, parking will be insane on the North Shore.

I agree with TTB, it's going to be huge this week, so better off watching the pros unless you are a part of the Eddie. West side will be fun, but still big by mainland standards. Check town for some wrap on the big west days, places like 4's etc. If all else fails, go bodysurf Makapu'u.
