Kia Ora, I would like to live and work in Hawaii. how is the job situation for surf instructors? I currently work in health promotion

A kiwi teaching surfing in HI? I have an idea, why not go there to work as a tour guide? Sounds silly right? Just as silly as being a surf instructor there. As to avoid getting hassled by the locals, I think you may want to consider another line of employment. Besides, as a foreigner unless you have huge creds and are a senior exec in a top firm you won't be able to obtain a working visa. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Not so silly, Ive surfed there many times. Although i'd be open to any opportunity of a job.
