surf in september« on: April 16 2007 06:04:00 »
I'm planning a trip to Hawaii next September, and one of my plans to do is surfing, diving, and other sports.
Somebody know if Sepetember has good waves to surf and where (which beach and which island), also if someone has a suggestion that i could do there, will be great.
tks a lot

The north shore will be waking up, try there.

The north shore is very surfable by most surfers in September. The really huge swells don't kick into gear until the winter storms rage in the Aleutians, usually around late November/ early December. Until that time, the swells are up to 2x overhead or less, mostly less. Speak only what you know of, Tom.
