Sure I remember Dodie, I met her in 1974 when she moved to Leucadia San Diego Ca.
She was Married to a friend of mine PJ for a short time in the 80's but I haven't heard a thing since.

RE: dodie hackamack

Dodie was my cousin. I was you ng when she left Houston to go surf in Hawaii. I understand she passed away within the last several years from a rare lung disease. If anyone know where her burial site was in Hawaii, would sure appreciate the info so I can pay my respects. She loved surfing, truly her passion. Thanks

RE: dodie hackamack

Dodie was my good friend from Junior High through High School. We spent many a summer at the beach house in Sargent's. Surfing Sargent's and skiing in Caney Creek. She loved white powdered donuts and chocolate milk. She and I and James Bass were running buddies. Aloha.

Dodie Hackamack- surfer girl

Gretchen- that sould like her! I recall she was a free spirit and left Texas in her late teens maybe and went to Hawaii. I think it was because of a boyfriend she had. She did what she loved and I never got to see her again. RIP Cousin.
