Where to surf on the east side of Big Island - intermediates« on: January 17 2009 04:01:00 »
We're staying on Big Island in May in the Outrigger Hotel, KEAUHOU in . Ideally looking for upto 3ft swell and not wanting to get in the way of locals. I'd like to get a guide for the first session to point a few suitable spots out. Does anyone have any pointers or recommendations?

Hey bro I can't seem to get an answer either. I'll be north of you about 45 minutes and it sounds like there really isn't a ton of surf in the area from the reseach I've done. If there is it will be early mornng and very dependent on weather. This is all second hand as I've never been myself. Check out Kona Boys surf shop I called them and they were way cool and had some good 411. Here is a thread I found on the subject
good luck maybye someone will reply with better info.
