i surfed in kerala around april a few years ago, and there were some ok waves. About 2-3 feet, from behind, and some ok beachies. No-one else surfing just some kooks on bodzers catching whitewash. Has nothing in comparison to beachies in Oz, but still a bit of fun. The board we rented there was a Hunk-Of-Junk too and the guy wanted ridiculous amounts of money to use it.

Just returned from Kerela on holiday with the missus. Took my bodyboard along in the hope that Kovolam would serve up some waves. It served up some waves but they were all close-outs... Nothing to get excited about. See my comments under Kovolam. Exploration is the key too a wondorous time (only wish i paid to take my board now)....
