hey steve will be arriving in phuket april the 22 till the 12th may, give me a hoy if you are there and going.Aussie , surfer, worked the west coast oz fishing, spent some years on boats, and very chilled.

Hey mate,i live in phuket (6 months of the year,April/Sep) with my japanese wife,been to the Andamans a few times(on my own,via India) Iam from NZ,but been in OZ, gold coast for a long time.Know ALL the spots on the islands,been on local fishing boats all over !! Use phuket as a BASE to (India/Sumatra) sometimes just stay in phuket and surf the on shore waves the whole 6 months !! Ah,iam a CHEF,dont know any thing about sailing !! All i know is if YOU are SMART,you will ALL READY be in the Andamans (NOW) !! Just befor SONGKRAN is the time to be there,untill early/mid may,depending on how soon the S/W monsoon STARTS !! If still phuket NOW,Get in contact,talk face 2 face,or when you get back,got some secrets i dont want any one to read !!

Im an Aussie volunteering in chennai atm and am heading to the little andaman late march for a week or two to try and find some surf. Any info would be greatly appreciated, am having a particularly hard time tracking down a board....any idea's?
