I'm a beggining surfer that will be in india from Jan 12th - feb28. You said you are a local, where can I buy or rent a board?
RE: LOCAL INDIAN SURFER« Reply #8 on: November 30 2005 01:11:00 »
Sorry mate, no boards for sale here in India, no surfshops,
so if u plannin' on renting a board, head to Auroville Beach "Repos" near Pondicherry, south of Chennai.
Once in Repos ask for Shankar, Velu or Balaram they are all local surfers they rent a few boards, but pls. take great care not to damage any of the boards we dont get any new ones.
have fun & aloha,
