Is there actually surf (as well as drugs) in Goa?!

First I've heard of it.

No surf to speak of. I body surfed a tiny wave off the rocky points at the north end of  Vagator beach. Biggest it ever got was about 2 feet.

i have seen pictures of Surf at various beaches North and South Goa. I am going to Goa in April and both my daughter and I are taking our boards. Don't expect surf everyday but even if I get  a weeks surf it will be worth it. Going to Baga beach. So if u see me and u wanna borrow my boards, say hello. Also there is 1 beach shack on Baga that hires boards - he has 7 but I dont know what type or the condition! c ya Jim & Ellz

The next real surfspot from Goa is in Gokarna, 150 km from the Airport in Goa. You can take lessons or rent a board here. For more information check out www.cocopelli.org
