RE: surf-businesses to intern« Reply #1 on: August 25 2017 15:08:00 »
Because you can't intern in Indonesia.
Indonesia has strict laws about what type of jobs or even training foreigners can do (paid or un paid) positions a work permit (KITAPS) is available for is limited to specialised areas like teaching english, resort manager focussing on foreign guest, chef specialising in western food, specialised areas where Indonesia finds it hard to find the right people, like high end mining positions etc
Only other way is if married to an Indonesian you can work as a freelancer in any area you like, but even then if want to be employed by a company still need to get a work permit limited to specialised areas.
