I'm also thinking 'bout it. To me Bali looks a great deal. When will you go to the camp? Have you already met somebody who's been there before?
greets and may you hit the waves soon :)

Surf camp at bingin?
mmmm been a while since ive surfed and hung there...Im sure you can still stay right on the beach cliff warungs/losmens cheaply and closest to the action you didn't even have to pay a fair few years back just eat at the place ypu slept at under mozzy nets out in the open(dont know if is stilll the same)
But even then it was always packed, fun wave but five guys out is a crowd, then theres imposibles that is a bitch of a wave and Dreamtime that is scenic but rarely good.

I stayed at Nyoman & Nyomans right in front of bingin, it was about $10 for all meals and lodging - shared bathrooms. that was in 2003 though

I reckon dont bother staying at a surf camp...if u cant surf then bingin is not the place for u, and if u can...then why pay the extra for a 'surf camp' when everyone who stays there are surfers anyway and u can get warongs on the cliffs for pennies!! Or u can always stay at dreamlands and surf bingin. Robbie's at dreamlands is wicked...£2/3 a night or, 50p to sleep on the roof!
