RE: camping in indo

You are only allowed to stay for 30 or 60 days at a time in indo. And camping, wouldn't advise you on it. have you even been to Indo before for a short period, before you start planning for a year?

I understand what your saying. but if that what faith has for me. I guess.  your right about checking stuff out, i wouldn't camp if the vibe wasn't right.

Kalau anda mau berkemah di Indonesia, anda gila!

If you cant read the above then i wouldn't advise camping in Indonesia especially if you have never been there before anything can and does happen in Indo and everybody wants something from ya in some way so you would need really good negotiating skillls in Bahasa Indonesia.

RE: camping in indo

I camped on panitian island for a month in 2003. Calculate how much water you need, most important. Big bags of rice are cheap, buy a kero burner and a rice steamer.+ you can buy fresh fish off the local fisherman who stay in the bay at night.
