Bali in June/July« on: January 24 2007 19:01:00 »
hey everyone, i'm keen on goin to bali this year once i've saved up the dosh. i was thinking that june/july would be the best time to go to score good conditions/weather because it would be the dry season of the monsoonal climate. is this right? if so, would this compromise the swell or?

June/July is the busiest times for Bali and you'll have the offshores on the west coast. The swells will still keep coming in as the do all year round. It is the dry season and it will be 30+ most days. Look around and you will find some great waves.

Augis still good, and not as crowdy as july, but still... Bali!
Though none of u will regret going I promise! Don't miss Lombok and nusa lembongan, gili is a good break from the stress as well, mind the hustlers that sell tickets in the harbour though! Just buy one way, it's !/3 of the price to buy tickets on the islands back, than going for the return ticket from the mainland.

Depends what you're after. Surf or party?
July and August are the most crowded months. If you can avoid it, don't go, unless you need lot of people and parties around you.
April is already pretty stable. May is great! June is beutiful, but people are starting to come in. If you go 1 month I would choose May. 2months midApril-midJune. 3months April-May-June.
