Availability of accomodation in Indo?« on: April 10 2007 10:04:00 »
Hi All, planning a 7week trip to Indo over July/Aug. Know its a busy and hectic time to go, will be spending time in parts of Bali, Sumbawa, Lombok and maybe Lembongan.
Will be planning to stay in cheap bungalows and losmen.
Want to know if accomodation availability may be a major issue in any of these parts, if we are applying the "just rock up and hope to find some reasonabley priced accomodation approach"?
Any feedback will be appreciated, luka.
4rm Saffa in SA.

Whats up Dood! I'm 4rm Durnbs Myself, going to Indo 4rm 24June - 15 Aug 07. Not Landing in Bali 1st, not going to spend to much tome in Bali, like 12days max, I reckon.
Havint gone to indo b4, so amped! Yes, us DBN boys r going to get shaked off our pips! I'm a goofy footer, so keen to hit the name breaks in bali, put up with the crowds for a while, then move on.
What R u budgeting per day, round about, to live in Indo? Some places will prob be cheaper than others. like ie Lakeys, soooo Keen for that wave, and others nearby.
Later Dood. Keep in touch.

i'm in the process of organising a week on a boat that cruises around sumbawa, lombok, and lembongan. the cost is 430 euros. at the moment we have two out of the six required surfers. go to nomadsurfers.com and check it out. gland for a week costs 300$, as cheaply as possible. i've got 20 grand for the trip. my ticket is costing 8900 return so that leaves me with just enough to get around to a coupla spots.
we gotta get guns...apparently water moves around thick over those reefs.
do you surf in town? we probably know each other
we gotta get organised.

Shot Tdee, for the info, and web link.
HAve u been to Sumbawa(Lakey Peak) b4, Know its crowded over July/Aug, but their r 3/4 other breaks nearby as well, which should break up the crowd factor...
Any advice on how much it cost to live @ Sumbawa per day (average) , and would u recomend it as a surf destination, when in Indo?
Will be spending 2weeks @ Sumbawa atleast...
