Just got back from Savu. No swell really for the 9 days we were there, but bros said Bali had waves the whole time we were gone, except a couple 1-2 foot days, not much. Hell conditions with howling sideshore winds, not a place for anyone but the most hardcore, rugged surf explorer types. Although we heard it was epic, we didn't get that expereince from the place. Nightmare to get to, no good food available at all, hot and dry as alll hell. Quite barren. Lots of other places easier to get to with great waves. Might try again, maybe not, too much hassle getting there. Sumatra and Bali are stiil the go.
