hey i am currently a bartender with club med in the carribean, i am extremely interested in moving to indo, i was hoping that some could advise me on the employment situation there in summer monhts (may-august).

Ahhh here we go again.......I suggest you do a search for the Indonesian expat website and do some research.

Indonesia is a third world country with very very high employment something like 25% (so i recall, could be lower?)

Even if you could get a job as a Bar tender in Indonesia, your monthly wage would be under US $50.00 per month...yes you read correct.

To work in Indonesia you have a few choices teach english, start a company, or you can get a job if the position cant be filled by an Indonesian. these jobs a usaully in mining, bussines.computers.export/import etc, even then the company must pay the goverment about US $150 per month which is the same as a good paid job, otside of Jakarta, and about average in Jakarta.
