Bali Surf Mid November« on: September 19 2005 08:09:00 »
Hi just looking to see if anyone has any advice about surfing in bali from mid november onwards. I have visited before in july and had good surf between kuta out to Ulu's. But with the change of season I am interested to hear how this affects the winds and the type of spots that will be working. Will there be days where Ulu's etc are still a good option. I have read a little about Nusa Dua etc and it seems that most of the accommodation around here is pretty $$$. I am wondering if there also cheaper options mixed in amongst them. Any advice would be much appreciated.

I went for 3 weeks in mid Nov 04 Ulu's worked most days between 3-6 ft. Had waves on the Nusa Dua side up to 6ft with 2 blown out(ish) days so went round to Sri Lankas.
You have to just play it by ear - it was never flat!
