Bali in June surf and relax, any ideas?« on: February 12 2009 23:02:00 »
Would love to get into bali/kuta for one night then travel to a resort/area that is a lot quieter.
Have been to nusa lembogan (spelling) about 8 years ago.
Loved it but would like to go somewhere else.
Also is the surf ok in June?

June is perfect time for waves and sunshine, not yet too crowded (usually) so you may even enjoy some time in Bali first? Nusa Lembongan will have great waves then, but virtually anywhere in Indo will be relaxed as far as crowds go. Some suggestions - south Sumatra land camps, Mentawai yacht or Resort, Lombok south coast, West Java, Panaitan, Sumba, Roti (Lakey Peak may be a little busy).
