surfboard in bali« on: May 31 2009 21:05:00 »
In a about a month I'm going to Bali and check out the surf. Before I arrive there I'm doing some travelling across some other islands first. I'm not planning on surfing Java etc and therefore don't want to carry my board with me whilst I'm travelling. Does anyone have a solution for my problem? I was thinking maybe I could send it to a hostel so my board is there when I arrive. Maybe I would have to pay for that kind of service. Anyone ever had this problem? please tell me. Thanks!

---If you know where in bali you're staying you can ship your there and they'll hold it for you(call first)
---Assuming you're going into Jakarta and leaving there to Bali. Most airports have a "Kept Luggage" area to hold luggage in such cases. I've used this in Singapore. Depends on how long, can be expensive, call the airport and ask how much.
