Are there any waves in Indo in july and August?« on: June 06 2009 10:06:00 »
I've been trying to plan a surf trip for a good while now and it's turning out to be harder than I expected. I will be going in Late July, through til the end of August. I am an intermediate surfer - not quite shredding yet, but definitely getting better, and I want to know where would be best this time of year, to score a consistent 3-5 foot (occasionally barelling) wave, in warm waters. My thoughts so far have been between Samoa, Indo and The Maldives. I just want somewhere warm, cheap with uncrowded waves. I know Samoa is supposedly pumping at this time of year. 8-10 foot sounds a little too heavy for me, but I know it could be perfect for me on smaller days.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Take it easy,

"to score a consistent 3-5 foot (occasionally barelling) wave, in warm waters"
Let me know if you ever find it?
Indo is good, but far from uncrowded.
