There are some really good intermediate waves along Sth Lombok coast, one of the best ways to get there is by boat, check out Dreamweaver Surfing Charters they are probably the best one operating there

most of the spots are intermediate during wet season, check wannasurf.com i think they have almost all the spots. just watch out for currents.

RE: intermediate balisurf breaks

We went on a trip on Dreamweaver this year and it was way beyond what we expected, the whole trip was excellent, we are going again next year for sure.
We checked out a couple of the other boats that do a similar trip and they were heaps of shit, and none of them went south of lombok like dreamweaver, awesome waves down there and no crowds and we still surfed all the favourites like Deserts and Scars.
