Total Beginner Where to learn?

« on: May 26 2010 09:05:00 »

Hi, I'm a total beginner when it comes to surfing. I come from Singapore and there are no waves here at all. The only experience I've got is Wavehouse and a little wakeboarding.

I just wanna know where is a good spot in Indo where I can  start learning how to surf. It will be good if the place is more with beginners.

Affordable too.

Hello
If you are a total beginner, and you like to learn surfing,I knew a good place,it's the place where i learned 3 years ago.
I already tryied to learn in France, but i didn't learned much,i couldn't stand up on the board.
Six months later i went to Bali and luckily i found a really nice surf school there.
Without them help i will never learn to surf, they have competent surf instructors, good communicators and friendly people, they given me all the time i needed.I really appreciate how this people traited  me.
They also have a beautiful and well located surf camp.
I will take my girl friend there next octobre, and i can recommend this ones to any body who likes to learn surfing.

Hi Bro!
Good to hear another Singaporean wants to learn surfing. I am also a Singaporean and i have been surfing for 3 years now. If you are going to bali, just head down to kuta beach, and you will see lots of surf schools just across the beach. There are big statues and signs advertising these surf school. Just head to any of them and book a lesson. I am not so sure about the pricing because my friend taught me to surf.Try booking the class at 8am and you will have most of the wave for yourself. When are you going and who are you going with? I'l be there in october. If you have any doubts, email me, kramyx_96@hotmail.com.

Enjoy surfing...!
