I am planning to go to Bali in January. I cannot take my board as I travelling with BA. I just wanted to know if somebody already used rentasurfboard.com and if you are satisfied with the service. I stay in Sanur. Any advice is welcome.
Thanks in advance

Paulo: Not sure about Sanur, but there are lots of place in Kuta and on the beaci to rent boards. I looked a rentasurfboard.com once but I wasn't real sure about what I would get. What type of board are you looking for?

I used rentasurfboard.com when I stayed in Seminyak, the board has been delivered to my room and was same as on the picture. I think they can deliver to Sanur, no problem. Price is around 7 USD a day.
Plan B, you can scan the shops in Poppies 2, will be same price but it may take some time to find the good one.
Just don't rent on the beach, it's more expensive and boards are very often fragile.
Have a nice trip

I looked at rentasurfboard.com and the boards look good on the site. They say delivery to Sanur for $20us, you might want to check if that's delivery and pick-up or $20 each way. Also, ask if you can exchange boards, and see if they rent w/o reservation.

I contacted them. It's only on reservation but yes I can swap board if I want. So that's ok, I book with them. I'll let you know how it worked.
Thanks for your help

Sounds like a good deal, good luck. Funny you can swap boards but not rent w/o reservation. A interesting exercise might be to have a friend call them while you're there and see if the would rent w/o reservation.

Sanur - Otherwise known as snore zzzzzzzz.. $7/day, $20 delivery - You are getting ripped. If you look hard enough, you can rent a motorbike for $1/day.
Depending on length of stay, you could buy a new board at Papaya surf shop on Poppies Lane II in Kuta for $350 out the door.
Atleast you will be close to Karamis if you live in Sanur. Check out baliwaves.com
