Hello Adam. There's always Doggy-the-man. No joke. The dude can be found at Uluwatu. Just ask around the restaurants. He strikes me a bit of a local hoodlum. Not sure if I'd want to be on a boat with the guy for long periods of time. Nevertheless, he's been doing it for years now. It could turn out okay.

check out the add & link above(second down in the adds) to "Indonesian surf reports" website...ive actually changed the site to include a directory of every surf camp/surf resort and surf charter in Indonesia (plan to relaunch the site on a different platform in the future, so past guest can add reviews)
Anyway you can find all the charter boats that do the Lombok/sumbawa route, links to there websites and Embeded youtube video's of the main waves.
either go to lombok or west sumbawa section.
Hope it helps cheers Mick

Hey Carson...Dream weaver charter(website link) is already on the site or i suggested to check out, plus every other known charter boat that does the lombok route, including
Indo ocean, captain coconuts, Ria wisata, surf dessert storm,Partama and loads more...better to book direct with the charter themselves, if you have a few crew they should cut you a deal, surf travel agents like waterways get a cut often 10-20%, go direct and you have bargaing power.

BTW.. why are topics that are related to surf travel in Indonesia still going missing????
Topics that are not abusive or comercial, while other topics that are share commercial links (spamming) are not deleted.
I started a topic on the 2011 Mentawai season and how I beleived advertising/storys (thats not on this site) about the 2011 mentawai season being predicted as uncrowded was a total hoax and pointed out the resons why and now it is gone after appearing for a number of weeks???
If you delete informative post that are non commericial people will not post here.
