susi air, or bandung-pangandaran mini-bus« on: March 03 2011 20:03:00 »
I arrive in Bandung at 13:30 on a Sunday. I'm looking into transport to Pangandaran -- same day if possible, though I know that may not work. (I've got a longboard bag with me.)
Anyone flown with Susi, out of Bandung? I've read good things about the service, but also that they don't fly every day. I'm wondering how many days I'll be in Bandung waiting for a flight to go.
As an alternative, I was looking into taking one of the A/C mini-buses -- like Budiman? -- from Bandung to Pangandaran. Curious if anyone has experience taking a board bag with those. Or are they too crowded for me to be dealing with a longboard? (This would be on a Sunday.)
Glad for any advice on Bandung-Pangandaran transport.

Yes, I did, and also emailed. Got basic info but hit language roadblock. But found helpful local agent, so good to go. Thanks.

susi air are running a great service from bandung to the coast, to ensure that they will fly one passenger you might have to book two tickets. Still cheap and you get a 30 minute flight instead of 6 hour car trip. worth it in my book.
Yes you will have to pay for a longboard.
