Surf in Ireland - help needed!!« on: May 31 2012 08:05:00 »
Mys sister and I are long time surfers making a trip to Ireland in about 2 weeks. We are looking for some good spots to surf, and some good shops to rent boards from. The airlines wanted to charge us over $2,000 US to bring our boards. Any and all help is appreciated!

so many options! but such limitations... your gonna need a car. your gonna need to hit the west coast, west is best....
Donegal, Bundoran. You've Tullan, The Peak, Rossnowlagh.... shops are Bundoran sur co, surfworld.
Sligo, Strandhill, theres guys rent gear off the promenade.
Clare, Lahinch, theres guys rent gear off the promenade.
Now this is basic stuff, these are the most obvious and consistant breaks... hope it helps. You also have surf in Waterford, tramore and Portrush/Portstewart in the north...
