Surf Spots around Galway« on: April 08 2006 12:04:00 »
I'm goingto Galway for a weekend in June and don'y want to miss out on my first surf in Ireland - where is the nearest point to Galway, where i can hire a board as I don't think I'll be bringing mine along. Also if anyone can reccomed any good reosurces on the web - pics etc of the spots around galway that would be pretty good to.

Hey there, I'm actually Irish but am only just about to learn to surf and would love to know the best places to go along the west coast of Ireland in the summer. If anyone passes on their pearls of wisdom would you mind passing them on to me? Ta, and good luck!

I ended up going to Lahinch south of there which has lots of surfspots and you can rent boards.
