I am coming from the united states during St. Patricks day week. I was hoping to get a little surfing in while in the country. I was thinking of going to Long strand beach but I couldn't find any info online about board rentals. Can any one give any suggestions/ideas

Ya, it was big....but a bit blown out., eh?
yo gotta know the local conditions inside out to surf here, which can change by the hour.
too much windy weather to make a top surfing destination I reckon.
