will I surf in Ireland??

« on: June 02 2005 09:06:00 »

I will visit Dublin in September. I will have a free weekend and I would like to surf if possible. What can I do from Dublin? Where can I find a board (rent, second hand...)? How cold is the water in September?
Is there any possibility that I will make it? I desperatelly need to surf, I moved in Finland twoo years ago from Sicily and... well I realized the situation when I sow a truck driving on the frozen sea!! Wave? No way!
Please help me!!

no surf in dublin. go to the west coast. lahinch in county clare is good. you can rent boards there. water is 12-13degrees celcius in september- good swells. njoi
