Surf near Maynooth?

« on: March 12 2008 22:03:00 »

I will be studying at the National University of Maynooth next spring, and I was wondering how close/easy to get to are the surf spots.

go three hours west , the surf is around bundoran in donegal , easky in mayo and lahinch in clare , within 30 mins in all directions from these towns are loads of spots , summer is generally flat though.

yeah north west is best bet for you.You could make strandhill in under 3 hours, its your nearest spot but is a consistent beach with a point at the north end of the beach.
