Surf Conditions from Laventro South to Lillatro« on: December 05 2008 17:12:00 »
I'm going to school in Florence for the year next year (2009) and I'm pretty anxious to find some waves. I'm definitely aware that it is the Mediterranean and that I'm not going to find much for size but what are some of my options? If I may, where should I paddle out? Do the swells vary throughout the year?

I think that if u can fly to sardinia u can find some good wave almost all winter. Near Florence ur option are spot around pisa viareggio forte dei marmi that are all beach break. in liguria u can find some bigger waves sometimes in a year that they break on rocky bottom
