MOVING TO JAPAN - WETSUIT AND SURFBOARD

« on: October 12 2012 08:10:00 »

Hi everyone!

In about six months I am gonna move from Spain to Tokyo and live there for about 2 - 3 years.
I have few questions and I hope you guys can help me...

I do not know if I am gonna take my actual board to Tokyo because I am already thinking in buying a new one.
I heard that in Japan the surfboards are more expensive, but in the other hand to take the surfboard in your flight it costs 150 - 200 euros.
What do you think it si better?
I was thinking in buying an Aloha or an Al Merrick.

I also need some advice with the wetsuit.
What kind of wetsuit do you need to surf in Japan?
I already have a long John for the summer, and a 3/2 full suit for the winter.

Hope you can help me.

Federico
