First Time to Japan - any advice - assistance (board rental, spots, accommodation)

« on: May 10 2014 15:05:00 »

Hi,

I'm a San Diego, California surfer coming to Japan for the first time.  Any advice would be great!  I like to longboard - surfed about 15 years.  I also shortboard, but prefer longboarding.  I'm thinking Chiba and south east of Kyoto on the peninsula.

Any recommendations on where I can rent a board, surf, sleep and eat all in one place at each destination would be amazing!  If anyone wants to meet up for a surf and a beer, even better.

Cheers,

Scott

My name is Ebi who lives in suburb of Tokyo. I posted ' Let's go to Chiba for surfing' and I surfed some friends. How long do you stay in Japan? I know some ideas. if you want to know  please send  a mail. my e-ad is beach7355@yahoo.co.jp How about go to Izu of Shizuoka prefecture? There are many mountains, good reivres, clean ocean and onsenes (hot springs)
