Finding a Friend

When I was station in Japan I learned to surf from a local who owned a surf shop in Fussa Japan the shops gone and I lost his number and email was wondering if anyone knew him he Judged surfing competitions and was in Hawaii all the time His first name was Yu Last Might  be miss spelling it Shaminto His dad also owned a surf board factory near by. Other employees where Yutaka and Nami. If anyone has information it would be greatly appreciated.
