what type/thickness of a wetsuit should i bring?

« on: April 23 2007 15:04:00 »

I am moving to Japan this mid-June and will be living in kanagawa.  I was curious what type of suit will I need for the summer out there?  I am from Oregon so I already own a 5/3mm fullsuit.  Just curious if I needed to pick up something that will be a little cooler out there.

Thanks!

The wettie you have will be fine for winter.

Mid summer gets to boardshorts temps so you`ll want a short john or a spring suit as well. right now is still good 2-3mm steamer weather.
Make sure you buy before you come here!  They`ll be way cheaper at home......
