going to mada in May 2008« on: March 03 2008 12:03:00 »
Anyone thinking of doing a trip up to Madagascar on May 2008 ?
I am planning to travel alone for a surf, beginner to intermediate level breaks wanted and could share costs of travelling to breaks and maybe a bit of inland adventure.
I am based on cape town and can arrange my dates if anyone is serious on sharing the costs for 8-10 days.
good waves everyone.
drop a line if keen.

No idea about shapers but i suggest you bring a couple of boards before trying to find out !!! , I know there is a guy called Fred that does surfaris inland and by boat, he might know. It's easy to come across his address through Mada Surfari or some like that.
Ifaty has good waves i've heard, jelly babies, tts, and some other wicked named reefs.

My company is working with Zanj Explorer selling surf charters from May – July. We're advertising 4 trips, starting on 1st May.
The groups will be mixed (ie – it’s not a problem if you are just 1 person, as you can join the group of other like-minded people)
I can send you the details on e-mail if you are interested - R11,490 per person includes your return flights JNB-Madagascar, food, travel, full board on the yacht etc.
Let me know if you want any info.
