Good, consistent surf in May?« on: May 14 2007 14:05:00 »
I'm planning a surf trip for May '08 looking for good tubes. Think Maldives is a good choice? If so, recommend any particular boat or captain. Otherwise any other location wich would be consistent and relatively uncrowded durin May. Thank u very much..

I'm heading to the Maldives this June for a 2 week boat charter through worldsurfaris. I'm going with 10 of my mates and we are paying $4000 AUD each to have flights (from Australia), meals and accommodation included.
We've been told that the swell is at it's biggest during June, July & August so hopefully we'll get some good surf. Apparently as long as there is swell, there are waves breaking at various points that range from 6 foot plus down to only a few feet, so it covers all riding levels.
I'm pretty f**cking excited hey! I'll be sure to post some photos and some other tips we find out along the way when I get back!
