June in Maldives« on: May 10 2005 07:05:00 »
Hi. I am thinking about taking a surf trip to Maldives in June, but unsure of how big waves are going to be and how pricy the trip will be. I wish to surf in gentle condition, up to head high, nothing too powerful.
Anybody who is familiar with surfing in Maldives, I would really appreciate any suggestion or ideas. Please send me email to firstname.lastname@example.org

Not a bad month to go biggest problem with june is that they generally have a wqs event there find out when thats on and avoid it. Best way to go about surfing there is a boat trip. Worldsurfaris (Aussie) company usually have some great deals going added advantage is they have guides on there boats if its on they'll know where. Biggest problems with Maldives it can be fickle occasionally get it on and your bound to fall in love with the place it smokes.

its gonna be ok.the waves in Mal'e (capital) are small these days. O'Neill trials are being held now. i have a friend who is in safari bussiness, if u want i can give u his contact number. his name is Ibrahim. wanted to tell u cos u said you dont want it to be too powerful, and i know the waves are cool these days. So... thats it. :) keep surfing!
