Local knowledge with experience...« on: December 14 2009 22:12:00 »
I'm a local surfguide and a certified rescue diver here in the Maldives and I've travelled and surfed almost every known break here from north to south. I beleive some of the information on the breaks are not very accurate on this website. I advice to find a very experienced or a local surfguide on your trips. best is to find a local cuz experienced locals can come in handy in emergencies and in bad weathers. And most of all, local island's info's,fishing spots, snorkellin areas, diving spots, local people, tradition, surf history and to live in it's beautiful nature can be experienced with a fellow local Maldivian. if you would like to hear more on maldives surfing and other info's, please drop a line anytime on my email. keep on surfing!!
