I am going to the Maldives in late March and early April and would like to know what the best resorts with surf nearby for intermediate surfers like myself.
I have been surfing for about 10 years and I am confortable in swells between 2 to 4 feet.I have also surfed a few "easy" reefs on a few occasions before in places like Sri-Lanka and Brazil.
Thanks in advance for your advice.

Kandooma is a great surf resort and Anantara has a pretty good break for intermediate surfers if the swell is good. If the resort is too high and you want a cheap stay, consider a guest house or daily surf trips from Male. www.justsurfmaldives.com offers cokes wave (guaranteed tubes) for $60 per day.
