I just read one of your posts and seeing you have been living there for 3 years I thought you can give me some info about the island. I will be there in September next year and just wanting to know where the best ares are to say?
What will the waves be like this time of the year also?

Hi Josh, just read your piece on the old sharks...great. As you live there was just wondering if I could ask you a question or two. From Ireland and heading to Le Morne in Novemeber for two weeks windsurfing and surfing. Looking for accommodation and found Pik Pik studios in Le Mourne. Any ideas on what they are like? Would really appreciate a little local knowledge and any suggestions on cheapish accommodation. Sorry to bother you with all the questions. Cheers. Katherine

You are not on their main menu, don't worry. You are waaaay too bony for their digestive system and are hard to swallow. Any bite they do get in on you is a case of mistaken identity and they may apologize once they realize their mistake. (The apology comes in the form of letting go of you). OOPS, sorry about that, mate. Please forgive.

wasnt at mauritius, but i saw a shark chasing a school of mackerel. as it passed i gave it a good whop on the nose and it turned around and tried to bite me. I started stroking its snout as i saw in a documentary, then sent it away.
about twenty minutes later, i saw this shark coming straight for me, and it bit me, but only extremely lightly. I think maybe it wanted me to do it again? any replies?
