Puerto Escondido and surrounds« on: November 04 2015 14:11:00 »
I am finishing up in South America on the 18th Nov and heading to Cancun. We are looking at flying out to Mexico City hiring a car and making our way down to Puerto Escondido. we have about 3 weeks before we fly back to Cancun. Has anyone got any tips on where to go around that area. Very keen to go searching for some breaks off the beaten track. How safe is it to do so, and any recommendations for surf breaks other than the famous Puerto.

You're there at the off time for large swells. There are spots away from Carizalillo and La Punta and the crowds. Not sure what personal info is given out on this site. Send me your contact info and can possibly hook you up w/ someone there. Also you're in the middle of pring break. Hope you like it loud!
