« on: March 13 2006 15:03:00 »

Hi,
where can I find a good spot for beginner to intermediate that is not crowded with crazy spring-breakers that never drink in their life?  Thanks!!

Try Plays De Los Cerritos, Pescadero, near Todos Santos (the town in the very south not the Island in the north)...

Heh there.  Well, it depends on far south you want to go.  If you are not headed towards the tip, I would go for San Quintin.  Pabillon's, great showers, are you camping?  Then a bit further, El Socorro, and the area south of that is still virgin .  Plus, excellent crab at San Quintin, and you can take a day trip out to the desert and boulder fields to see the spring flowers in bloom.

Before San Quintin, is Erendira, Camalu, Colonet.  They are planning a huge port at Camalu, so experience it before it's gone, beautiful beach, pack things in.

And for all you Baja nutties out there, here's the good news:  The proposed LNG plant off the Coronado Islands has been halted in the Courts by various Mexican Environmental Groups, including Greenpeace Mexico.  Please support Wildcoast.
